The purpose of the Association are joining efforts, intellectual and material resources of educational institutions, research institutions and businesses in areas improve the quality of International Economists and teachers of related courses , creating favorable conditions for the organization of scientific debates and fundamental studies of Ukrainian economic science in the range of international economic relations and globalization processes. The Association also aims to encourage the formation of the Ukrainian society, business community and public servants responsible for the formation of foreign policy, current views on the place and role of state in the process of integration of the national economy into the global economy and Ukraine into the global processes of globalization.

The Association takes its own or jointly with other institutions conventions, conferences, roundtables and symposiums to discuss the scientific, practical and organizational issues, assists members in organizing and conducting exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, conferences and other public events that promote development of Ukrainian economic science, organizes and conducts charitable and humanitarian actions, promotes the achievements of Ukrainian economics by providing support of publishing.
